One of the most prominent features of the dam is a historic inscription carved into one of its rocks in dotted Kufic script, considered one of the oldest known Islamic inscriptions. It is located in a picturesque natural area known as Saisad National Park, which includes several valleys such as Wadi Saisad and Wadi Al-Arj.
